Fall of 2022 is here. Plenty of braiding and weaving has been going on. Spring Beginners class will start in April 2023. 

     Winter is definitely here. -6 degrees this morning. Great day to snow wash my braided rugs. Could only do two at a time. Didn’t want frost bite. But it was worth the ten quick minutes.

2019 Belfast Braids Update

        Since I last posted, so much has happened. We now have a new Braiding Studio to enjoy all the new braiders and friends that we have met. So much more room for the 100% wool, both New and recycled.
         We have been having regular meetings and multiple classes for new braiders and for those that want a challenge to learn something new.

For more than 35 years, I have been creating Braided &  Hooked rugs and other items. Along the way, I have met many talented people who enjoy sharing and teaching of these same old time crafts.Braiding is no longer just for your hair and your Grandmother's  rugs. Although they can be beautiful.  It can be bowls, baskets, table toppers, totes and so much more. Rugs may be round, square, hexagon and octagon shapes. Modern patterns or traditional. Oh the color combinations. They may be bold or calming, your favorite colors, complimentary or contrasting to your decor.
